Earlier this week, City staff and students from Ballenas Secondary School (Qualicum School District No. 69) Environmental Action Group gathered for a tree planting event in the Parksville Wetlands. With help from the Friends of French Creek Conservation Society, almost two hundred western redcedar and grand fir trees were planted.
